Event Safety in Hungary

Kingsford Events were engaged to support a business conference taking place in Budapest, Hungary with event safety - producing the event safety plan and risk assessments, but also contingency planning.

Just as international events got going again the war in the Ukraine has posed yet another challenge to ensuring both staff and delegates remain safe. As Hungary borders the Ukraine there was concern that - due to the proximity - there was an increased risk to the country and as the media continued to report war planes entering Hungarian airspace.

As well as the usual documentation, we worked with our client to put in place a number of contingency plans to aid in the safe and swift evacuation of their crew in the event of a developing situation.
