Hanbury Show.. From Cows to Cars to Aeroplanes

Once again we were pleased to be able to support Hanbury Show with their event health and safety requirements. Working closely with them through the year in the run up to the show we supported with the review and development of their ESMP and supporting documents as well as ongoing support to introduce policy and procedure for new and updated elements.

The show was fortunate enough to be granted a flypast by the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight of a Spitfire and Merlin. Lots of planning went into developing a procedure to ensure the safety of the horse and livestock and exhibitors was maintained as the planes flew low and noisily over the showground. The plan worked very well with no incidents and demonstrated how having good contingency plans in place along with excellent communication can ensure everyone remains safe.

Agricultural shows are deep within our roots and we are always privileged to be involved with such shows to bring our experience, knowledge and specialism to the table.
