Worcester Life Stories Virtual Time Travel Trail

As the nights draw in the opportunities for outdoor events don’t diminish. Last week it was a pleasure to support Worcester City Council's Life Stories ‘Virtual Time Travel Trail’ event.

An evening telling the story of Worcester’s past through both large scale and small scale video projection at 12 sites across the city centre. Projecting onto a number of the cities iconic buildings, crowds were immersed in the history and sights of Worcester past with locals recounting their memories.

Not only was it great to see and hear about our city’s history, it was really interesting to discover and work in some of the venues that I didn’t realise existed locally.

Historic venues always prove some form of challenge to event safety, as they weren’t usually designed or intended to have crowds of people ushered through them. With careful planning and consideration the event ran smoothly across all sites.
